Security checks on boarding

Please have your ticket and ID ready for security and ticket checks, which may begin up to 2 hours before the ship’s departure.

The International ISPS Code requires all port facilities to carry out security checks on all passengers (whether on foot or in vehicles) presenting themselves for boarding.

Security officers will systematically carry out an access check (verification of the ticket) as well as a visual inspection (of the passenger, their luggage and/or the vehicle). The passenger may then be subject to a security screening, which involves a more thorough check of their luggage and/or vehicle, in accordance with all current regulatory requirements.

Passengers must have their ticket and identity documents ready to facilitate security checks and must keep all these documents with them if they wish to leave the port security area temporarily.

The VIGIPIRATE Plan is currently in force in the commercial port of Porto-Vecchio.

Level currently in force: «Enhanced security – risk of a terrorist attack»
